Stellar shave. Forgotten how good the classic British soap and brush combination can be. I read how some folks think that DR Harris soaps aren't as good as they once were but for me, today, this lathered easily, gave a pleasant cushion, had plenty of slickness, and left a soft post-shave feel. Perhaps the GD pre-shave helped -- and I should add that this brush is stellar and the WR1 is always good -- but for whatever reason this was a quick, easy, and smooth day.

SOTN Sunday

razor - RazoRock SLOC
blade - Shaverboy Super Stainless (9)
brush - Stirling 2-Band Synthetic
soap - Fendrihan Charcoal cream

aftershave - Proraso Blue balm, vintage Quorum EdT
music - "Indie" playlist from the CBC Listen app
I'm still not used to seeing the pearl-grey lather that this cream produces. It smells a bit weird too.
"A dynamic fragrance that combines cedarwood, sandalwood, musk and vanilla." If they say so, I guess.
It performs well enough, but this will be my first and last tub of it.
I'm smarter now, by using those little strips of blotter paper that they offer for spraying samples on, and writing the name on them.

We could be Heroes, just for one day.
