In other news, the Kai MG blades have treated me well. I think I slightly prefer the shave of the General razor head over the Alumigoose. But both are very nice to use.

I have to admit this setup of my beloved Mark Cross and a Schick Proline yields an even more enjoyable shave than my DE go-to, the Shake Sharp, easy two pass BBS head and face shave and especially superior on the chin where most set-ups cause me difficulty. The only issue is repeatability, as there's no easy way of getting blade gap just right without fiddling. This is right and man is it sweet.
