Based in Norway and reluctant to go for the $50 option (plus VAT and fees) to get the Hallows splash over here, I'm working on figuring out what goes with the soap. Though they don't share a single note according to their specs, Bulgari Man in Black ASB wasn't that far off really. Powdery and slightly floral, with nods both to the sweet and to the dark. The sweetness of the splash is less pronounced in the balm.

Very good photograph today amigo. I'm still enthralled by that brush. I think it's the handle, but I'm not sure. Save drive, have a good day. Happy2

Thank you Doug. I really like this brush as well. For me it is the shape and color of the handle.

Parker 94r handle = 58 grams. S&S handle = 78 grams. And that made a significant difference in the shave. With a normal 94r I get close, comfortable shaves that I enjoy. With the S&S handle the Parker head turned into a ravenous beast i.e. very very aggresive (to me). Being careful, I got a fine shave but no more of that combo. Love the Palmolive SC, it's performance and cooling factor are top notch. Now go enjoy your day folks
