And now for something different:

Razor:   Gold Dollar 300 (Pearl "The Sleek"-modified)
Soap:    Cella Bio Aloe Vera
Brush:   Semogue 1305 (refinished)
A/S   :   Grand Bay Lime Bay Rum

Comments:  first time using Cella Bio. Had it in the den for a long time waiting for a warm evening.  This was it.  To my surprise, the lid was loose and the soap somewhat shriveled up in the tub.  So I bloomed it for about two hours.  It loaded and lathered fine.  Similar to red Cella.  Lather not quite as voluminous. Did first two passes with the Gold Dollar. As usual, no drama. However,   I am still having a challenge modulating pressure with the Sleek SE razor. There just isn't any blade feel and by the third pass, there isn't much stubble so not a lot of audible feedback either so I used too much pressure. No weepers but almost. I am fine at maintaining the proper angle, but I loaded too much soap so I did a fourth pass with the SE razor.  Pretty close to BBS.  However, I did over exfoliate and man did that bay rum sting! Not burn, just sting.  So, there is still quite a bit to dial in with this set up.  The Grand Bay bay rum doesn't leave me with much of an impression.  I would much rather use a Pinaud product.

I’ve only used this razor once since I acquired it a little over a month ago. Today it was simply fantastic. Atelier Durdan just knows how to make razors. Don’t mind the glass in the background, it’s a Yuengling Lager in a Guinness Glass. Yes, I shave responsibly. The beverage was AFTER the shave. Besides, it’s a requirement for parched throat syndrome. You can look it up on Web MD. It’s real Gents.
Great shaves to all…
