Monday SOTD

Very big day for me -

1st full shave with a SR!! I used a C.V. Heljestrand Mk 31, 5/8 FH which was super smooth. It took about an hour. Lol. I shaved in tiny 2"x3-4" strips to get in my flow without the lather drying out. The aftershave Dr. Jon's Flowers in the Dark burned like the gates of hell but no weepers!

Congratulations Eric! You picked my favorite razor to start with and had great first time success! The sting from the aftershave is probably due to using too much pressure with the blade or a problem with your blade angle. Believe me, with a little practice you'll be getting amazing shaves from the MK*31.
