So, second row of alternate shaves with the former and current Lea sticks, and some conclusions are starting to be drawn. They seem to be quite similar in latherability, water tolerance and glide, but the tallow in the older formula seems to play a decisive in role in cushion and protection, which I have found to be at a higher level in the older stick, at least during the two shaves with the Mach 3 and the Sensor (2 blades). Scent wise, there is a clear winner in the new stick, which smells fresh and nice. The older one smells of cheap lemon detergent.

BBS after three passes. The Sensor is still such a great razor.

I have to agree, that when it comes to the cartridge razors I have tried, the (now already “good old”) Sensor takes the cake. Smile

I actually find the Mach 3 to be a tad gentler with the skin and more forgiving, in fact, in case of being in a hurry, it's the Mach 3 the one I reach for. But perhaps the closest shave is for the Sensor... and the Contour. I like them all, I just choose the one that fits the occasion or I feel like choosing ?.
