Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 10 seconds to load the Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Schick Plus Platinum still in the vintage Gillette 40’s Style Super Speed. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Classic Fougere aftershave.

Merry Christmas to all on this 24th day of Decadent December, Christmas Eve. My new-old LaResche 77 arrived from France yesterday. After cleaning and sanitizing it, I decided to shave with it today. Although it is an intimidating looking design, some have described it as the best safety razor design ever. And I believe it after using it! The first pass WTG took the whiskers down to the skin line. One more ATG pass cleared the facial whiskers. I didn’t need more than one pass on the dome. I love my Shake Sharps, but this razor is in another category altogether! The designers at LaResche knew their business! I really enjoyed this effortless BBS shave! I feel smoooooth, refreshed and clean!
