Razor: Gratiot Krect Spiral Curve Slant
Blade: Wizamet (?)
Brush: Williams/Junk Boar
Soap: Vintage Williams
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: JB Williams Aqua Velva
Fragrance: Scuderia Ferrari Black
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1023
Williams Wednesday on Thursday !! Man I LOVE this razor and been too long since using. After the shave the JUNK Shave Forge Boar knot was pulled out of the Williams brush before setting it on the counter. Gave it more than a fair chance and I'm done with it. Pure JUNK. Great shave other than that and hope all have a great sweltering Thursday as I will !

Pre: warm water splash
Razor: Paradigm Ti2 head, with Triad Ti “Pineapple” handle
Blade: Astra Superior Stainless (2)
Soap: Ethos Lavender Supreme
Bowl: Captain’s Choice ceramic
Brush: Paladin Moe Tigris w/24mm bulb knot
Post: Captain’s Choice Venture AS, then Cera Ve Daily Moisturizing Lotion
Two Point Five passes - DFS-BBS
This Paradigm Ti2 head is new to me (Thanks Osman). It came without a handle thanks to the good offices of the seller’s child, who apparently discarded the handle on razor cleaning day. Now, I know that young children are agents of chaos, but that one had to hurt! Anyway, my first impression is that the Ti has a higher coefficient of drag, compared to the 17-4 and the stainless Diamondback. It seemed particularly so during this morning’s shave, which once again involved the use of a shallow angle on my part. I’ll have to go around a few more times with the “T2” before reaching any conclusions, however. The end result was great, but the shave took more effort and concentration. Maybe it’s a learning curve kind of thing. The handle and head sure do make a beautiful match though. The Ethos is such a special and wonderful product. Really, a big step up in every respect. I still like many other soaps, but the Ethos is just “wow.”
Happy Shaves . . . .
