Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1019

Great shave. Blade at 9 shaves is needing more strokes I think but still giving smooth, close and irritation free shaves. The soap I'm calling done as it is not doing it for me quality wise and is near gone anyway. I wish I had this scent in a quality soap. Moving on to CFG Sherlock that survived the recent soap reduction sale as a complete set with splash and EDT to match. Enjoy your Sunday, it's back to the grind tomorrow !

This humble razor kicks proper booty when used with a sharp blade and proper technique!  The last pass, ATG, in particular, if done with a real shallow angle, short strokes, light pressure, and skin stretching, just really works well.  Loving the MdC original and this 26mm Chief too. A very rewarding shave this a.m.

The brush feels soft and has less backbone than some of mine, probably because of its relatively high loft. But it super-lathered the soap and cream very well. Although it shaves smoothly and efficiently, the razor head is a sort of unwieldy block; fortunately, the Triad handle balances it nicely. And the aftershave, although not a Mysore, is still one of my favorite sandalwoods.
