Freddy you are most welcome. It was not being used here, as my mustache is beyond the control of that wax, so it may as well get used somewhere else.

I asked my daughter to help pick my SOTD this evening. She pretends it's a "hassle" but she can't help but grin through the whole thing. I acquired about 16 or 18 new soaps since the last time she was here, and she went through every one of them to make a short list, and then went back through those to pick. She did the same thing with my splashes. She has good taste, in my opinion...

This is probably the last shave with this loaner razor.(Thanks, Chaz!) I've been getting some very close shaves with the slant, but I seem to continue to have issues with "red spots." These aren't nicks or weepers, but seem to be scrapes on high spots on my skin. There's not a lot, maybe 4-6 per shave and I don't notice or feel them until after the shave, but it's still an issue. I've used a variety of soaps and (I think) fairly sound technique. Maybe this razor just isn't for me. It has been enjoyable, this experience with the Merkur 37C Slant, regardless. I find that any experimentation that I indulge in with shaving ends up being enjoyable, though.

Thanks Celestino. Besides the awesome location I've got more time, and am using a camera, not my iPhone. I'll have a few more while I'm here : )
