This was a superb shave all around, and my first with PAA Lime, Ginger, Tea Tree aftershave. I have to say this one is a great eye opener. The scent is bright and fresh, while the menthol provides a nice cool feel, not a face freezer. I see now that I will be getting the marching soap at some point. Lime opens strong and bright, followed by spicy ginger and other green notes. The dry down is still a fresh gingery lime. Excellent skincare leaves me soft and smooth.
CRSW always provides optimal lather, through which my New LC comfortably mowed down my stubble. This razor is very smooth and forgiving, but that smooth skin feel lasts much longer when I use the Fatboy.

Prep: Dove hydrate wash
Soap: Cold River Soap Works Jardin d'Orange
Brush: HIS
Razor: Gillette New LC
Blade: Voskhod (3)
AS: PAA Lime Ginger Tea Tree

Usually I'm not a big fan of lime-heavy scents for shaving. Probably because it's one of my favorite things to eat and I don't want the two worlds to collide. But in this case, the basil rounded it out out alright and it was a very nice scent. Who cares about the scent, though, because this soap is slick as ice. I am mad that it took me a week to get around to trying it, and also disappointed it doesn't come in more scents so I'd have something darker for the cold weather ahead.
