SOTD: 11/22/2016 - "Tester Tuesday"

Pre: Hot shower
Brush: Semogue 620 Boar
Soap(s): West Coast Shaving "Citrus & Basil" & Dr Jon's "Hydra"
Razor: West Coast Shaving OC head on "Barber Pole" Stainless handle w/ Personna Lab Blue (3)
Post: Dr Jon's "Hydra" splash

Got to try out some wares from West Coast Shaving. Still waiting to pass judgement, but had to use Hydra on my head since I was struggling with the WCS soap. Other than that, a great, refreshing shave.
Be smooth and shave it up, everyone!

Ok, I suck at photography and photography apps.  I have an old iPhone and iPad.  How do you gets such nice photos with frames and signatures and text.  Is it the camera or app or what?

I'm afraid I do use a photo app (or three Rolleyes) on my iMac for the frames and text.

What a fantabulous shave this morning. The 1912 soap gave me enough lather for 10 passes! Love this WW brush, such a beast.

It's all apps on my phone. I use an iPhone and just use a piece of white felt on top of my washing machine for a backdrop.
I make sure to turn on the grid lines on my pictures to I can easily use the "Rule of Thirds".
For the signature, I use an app called "Watermark" that lets you take a picture of your signature and use it as a watermark for pictures. Other favorite apps are "Photo Editor", "VSCO" and "Fotor". In this case, I just used a filter on Instagram.

Ohhhh! It's the washing machine! I've got one of those. What cycle do you use?

Ok, so it takes work. Not just a couple of clicks. I just retired my Kodak Instamatic. What a brave new world.

Thanks Doug!
That is a $30 Parker 92R ..... Shave is a lot like the 99R model, which seems to be more popular.
VERY mild angle - Great heavy feel - I'm a 2 pass everyday shaver ....... usually make 3 with my Parkers.
They are nice & have a place in my rotation -
