Double surprise. I expected blood or at least tugging but the vintage Paradise (?) blade in the 1912 worked really well. No dramas BBS. [Image: 09387ec275b5d345cb8d4c228c6e99bb.jpg]Again just jeans/hand stropped, soap the last bits of my DIY My Father's Face #2. The head shave with the PAL/Schick Platinum NOS /Clubman gel (no soap) was magnificent, an order of magnitude smoother than anything yet tried.

The Wilkinson wasn't holding up tonight so I replaced it after 2 passes. The GSB is one of my favorite blades. I usually have good results with the Wilkinson in my vintage Gillette razors.
Not to worry. The Frozen Margarita work perfectly as usual. The addition of the Hempel Ti handle helped to make this shave a DFS.
