In the very pleasant river port town of Kampot, Cambodia for three days, just brought the SABI/Mastiff. One shim and Permasharp blade, wonderful lather then oil two pass + shave. Since I'm only doing four total passes with the soap, a benefit of this mixed soap/oil approach is it's easy to fix the lather up for both the beard and head at the same time.

Wednesday SOTE

Barrister's Reserve Cool
Omega 10098
Schick Krona
Gillette Platinum
Barrister's Reserve Cool Splash

I went for the Reserve Cool with the Omega and I didn't quite get the lather right. It was still a good shave but just not right. Afterwards I did a practice palm lather and that turned out good. I know what to do next time.[Image: 5fd6a30065c6890874bd7c6ec31f9ad0.jpg]

Cinco de Julio Shave

Razor: Häagen-Dazs/ Gillette Silver Blue
Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom
Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo
Soap: Martin de Cadre
Post Care: Thayers Witch Hazel
Alum
Osage Rub

Well I almost missed it but I stopped on my way home from the gym and picked up some ice cream bars. Very nice shave again this year, I really like the GSB, I might have to try a shavette soon. Just two passes but a DFS. First try of this MDC scent and it's wonderful. Slight tickle from the alum but zero blood. Have a great day folks!

That definitely is cheaper than a shavette, but it can't be very comfortable to hold. Big Grin
