Straight Razor Shave Two
Today I did two WTG passes on both my cheeks with no drama. Emboldened, I tried a pass on my neck and it worked great - the skin is easier to stretch on my neck, and the 4/8 Torrey razor went smoothly and easily. I think I'm hooked. I have a long way to go.
I finished up with my Futur for a very close and comfortable shave. This was my first use of Route 66 soap - Cavendish, and I really like it. The scent is a familiar tobacco with some woodsy notes. I'm going to get the matching balm at some point. Today I used my Ahava balm, which is very soothing and has a welcome light cooling effect.
Prep: Kiehl's Calendula Face Wash
Soap: Route 66 Cavendish
Brush: HIS Lather Monster
Razor: 4/8 Torrey, Futur
Blade: Voskhod
AS: Ahava balm, BM Night Music splash
