Outstanding lather, Alex! I'm sure the shave was as good as it looks.

I haven't been able to score either of the first two Beta's of Mike's Bulgarian Rose. I'm stalking Mike's website and Twitter feed to try to catch the release of the final product. I suspect from what Mike has eluded to, the final version of this soap will probably be about $30 USD/tin + shipping. I DON'T CARE!!! If anyone sees anything about this release, please PM me. Actually, if anybody is looking for any of his other scents being in stock or up for pre-sale, PM me and I will gladly give you a heads up for what you are looking for, also. Yes, I'm a self proclaimed shaving soap nut with a fairly solid top 5, but Mike's was my first artisan soap and I love rose scented soaps. Just call me a Mike's Natural Soaps FANBOY if you must.

This Chatillon Lux Pre-Shave Butter that hawns creates is the only pre-shave product that I've found that works for me.  I've tried plenty, but IMHO this stuff is great!  It seems to prep my whiskers and skin like no other.  Again, IMHO.  YMMV!

The CRSW Oliva is a shaving soap is something that amazes me.  Really?  An olive oil based shaving soap?  This is the only one that I've experienced based on olive oil that lathers very easily and is extremely slick in use.

The Gillette Super Speed Red Tip is a razor that I basically stole off eBay and works very well for me.  I believe that this particular razor was used sparingly and landed in my grasp just by chance.  It's in beautiful shape and, as I said, works really well for me.

No surprise given the scent profile, but Harmony reminds me very much of Dapper Dragon Tiamat. Also, I really like the menthol levels in these splashes.

This is a special shave. It's my son's first birthday. The brush has his initials etched on the bottom and Shawn mixed up the Toner which is named after him. Can't believe it's been a year. Crazy how fast everything goes
