Oh, the joy of the first shave with a new razor. I'm sure many of you, if not all of you, know what I'm talking about. There's just something special about that first time. ? This was my first shave with my new Kopparkant Plus razor.

As you can see this razor is 100% Brass 360 and has a beautiful ultra-fine, smooth Satin finish. This bead-blasted finish goes a long way to making this a razor that feels smooth on the face. It has a really nice, solid feel coming in at 95 grams. It has good balance with it edging a little more to the head. The handle has a nice feel to its grip at the top end and I love the feel of the skinny pinch point in the middle. It just feels good.

I whipped up some outstanding lather from the top-tier Løthur base. If you've never tried Løthur before you're honestly missing out. Orange smells insanely good and is easily a winner for just about everyone.

I did three passes with a new Nacet blade and walked away with cheeks as smooth as a baby's butt. The razor, blade, and soap were all superb so earning a bbs was easy.

There was no better choice to end this shave than to splash on some Orange aftershave. Again, this homage to Creed Viking is just amazing!

This was a great first shave with a great shaving tool. I look forward to many more to come.
