An excellent shave with the Paradigm 17-4.  After recently using the Gillette “New” Long Comb, the Paradigm feels like a Cadillac!  The end result was not all that much different.  I got a great shave each time.  But the process was a lot more plush with the Paradigm.

Back to the Vib'Raz, Charcoal/MDC with a slight twist, I added two half Suneko blades on top of another unsnapped Suneko. For Science. More blade feel. More efficient, maybe.

Saturday Morning Luxury Shave

Razor: Above the Tie aluminum SB90
Blade: Astra SP
Soap: Arko
Brush: Omega 49
AS: Old Spice (original formula from India)

Just arrived in the mail this morning: a new aluminum Above the Tie SB90. Used it with the Astra SP supplied by ATT. What a great efficient razor. I am discovering that I have a strong affinity towards aluminum razors. My only complaint: I need want one in blue, my favorite color.


Face is feeling a bit dry after this shave. I cannot use traditional body soaps, but must use sensitive skin soap. Looks like the same is true for shaving soap. I guess I need dragon tallow, donkey milk, and essential unicorn oils to keep my ugly mug satisfied.

What a wonderful shave. The brush is one of my favorites, the cream made perfect lather, and the Paradigm brought out the best in the Personna blade. The aftershave finished everything beautifully. I just wish Penhaligon's had made a tallow soap with the same scent.

Saturday Morning Shave. 

Felt like having a winters day in August. 

Razor- Carbon Shaving Damascus Baseplate
Blade - Feather 
Brush - Mozingo DFS Collaboration  
Shave soap - B&M Terror
Aftershave- WSP Peppermint with extra menthol as I accidentally broke my bottle of Terror aftershave. 
Started with a Ice cold shower using Dr Bonners Peppermint body wash, a peppermint shampoo I made and facial soap bar. 

When I was done with the shave I felt like I walked out of my house on a January day butt ass naked I was cold all over my body head to toe and my face was frozen!
