I saw some pictures of past shaves with the Contour (Atra for some of you) and realized there had been too long without rotating it. And I corroborated that it is the one that gives the closest shave, amongst the three multiblade Gillettes that I own. It has to be handled like a DE razor and that's the funny part of it. No pressure and short strokes, otherwise, you'll get bitten. But it's so fun to use, performs brilliantly, and it's so good looking . Beautiful three pass shave (WTG and 2xXTG) and BBS with no incident whatsoever.
The Mystic Lilac intoned its Swan Song today. No problem lathering it up today as it usually happens when I use a synthetic, and stellar performance. I won't be ordering more of these soaps in the near future, though. They're outstanding, but I prefer soaps that don't require this much care to obtain a proper lather.

- Whipped Dog&Maggard Synthetic 22 mm
