Like you said, perhaps what may be lost with “Black” in skin care properties, you could supplement with a balm — and enjoy an updated scent. Definitely give it a chance if you can.

Sudsy Tuesday
This was my first use of a Sudsy Soapery soap, and it was the collaboration with Chattilon Lux: Delor de Treget. The lather appeared quick and thick and easily, with plenty of residual slickness. The scent is a very nice citrus with other notes that I'll need a while to pick out. Three smooth passes and the post shave feel is good as well. I finished with CL Santal Auster - a really nice compliment and a great sandalwood in its own right.
Prep: CL butter
Soap: Sudsy Soapery Delor de Treget
Brush: Brothers Bristles Bronze Shadow
