Commentary: I am starting to get a sense of why many DE enthusiasts speak so highly of the more aggressive shaving tools like the Wolfman razors. My older skin is not what it used to be, but I really like to shave each day. So, I’ve been settling into a “mild on two days” and “aggressive on the third day” pattern. Having shaved with the Timeless bronze 0.38 for the past two days (which is a fantastic razor that provides a CCS.BBS shave), the WR2 1.15 on the third day results in a fantastically close shave. The WR2 requires attention and demands careful technique. While I’m not there yet, over the last eight months or so I’ve improved enough to learn how incredible the shaves can be with a more aggressive razor. So, I have genuine appreciation for the fanfare over these razors. Certainly not the
only pathway to a great shave, but a very impressive tool, and
never a dull moment. [That sounds like both a “goal” and a “slogan,” dunnit?]
Happy shaves to all!
