Razor: Gillette Goodwill 1930's Ball End Open Comb w/ iKon Handle
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (7)
Brush: Omega Barber Pole w/Silvertip
Soap: Proraso
Aftershave: Proraso
Ended up with a pretty good shave. Although I like the looks of this brush, I'm not a fan of a floppy knot. The knot in this brush is very floppy. I will put it and install another knot before I use it again. The razor and blade worked well together and 7 days with a blade is a good result for me. Not a bad aftershave. The Proraso soap has a nice cooling effect, however, I don't find it as slick as some of my other soaps.

I have a few best badger brushes, however, this is the only one I really like. It whipped up a great lather for a 3 pass shave with a clean up around the chin. Route 66 The Black Pearl worked perfectly. The Folsom & Co. Capri is one of my favorite aftershaves. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Snow storm blowing in from the West on Sunday. We are supposed to get 3 days of heavy snow. I guess I got my last round of golf in today.
Doug, you just know I love that Gillette Goodwill. Mine is a favorite. I have to admit, I'm not big on changing handles (and I realize that's just me) so I still keep the original ball end handle on mine.
Please don't mention snow. I'm going to be in Buffalo from Christmas through the New Year and was hoping for San Diego sunny and 70 weather. (Hey, my trip, my fantasy )
Let's see, Christmas, Buffalo, no snow. Hmm, good luck with that. We are all pulling for you! I still have the original and I like to use it. I like to change handles to see what difference it makes in the razor. I have a few handles, so I use them.

That is a beautiful brush. Been trying for the jade lotus myself.
Thank you, Lloyd! It lathers beautifully and has just the right amount of backbone!
All the best,
