What can you tell us about the scent of that Eufros "Rosa Bourbon", Dinder1?. I was tempted when I purchased my "Vetiver de Haití" but decided against it as I generally don't like floral scents, but if it smells of Bourbon...

After my luxurious shave yesterday, I decided to back to the basics and use a Lea Stick tonight. And you know what?. Wet shaving can be cheap, really cheap yet effective. This humble and honest soap stick can really perform well. It'll require you to load thoroughly (I pass it on my face, then load the brush) but you'll be rewarded by a thick, shiny and dense lather that won't dry out or be itchy (those mineral salts) like, for example, La Toja does. The blade glides without problem and the lather softens even the hardest whiskers. It's got tallow, and it's got lanolin. It should be a good soap. It is, actually. OK, it smells of cheap detergent, but you can't ask for more for a 1.5€ shaving soap. No, you can't.
But the difference with the big dogs has to be somewhere, and even though I had no nicks or irritation after my two pass+touch-ups shave (resulting in BBS in most of my face), after I cleared the confort lather off my face, my skin started yelling for a balm. It wasn't razor burn, don't take me wrong. It was just my skin saying out loud that she was thirsty and needed hidration. And that's what I have my JabonMan balm for. After a few minutes, all was calm, soft, and quiet. As for the brush, it's another example of "best bang for your buck" out there. How incredibly soft and kind with your skin these Italian boar brushes are.

@"Schrittmacher" I would say that the most prominent scent of the Rosa Bourbon is of a very natural rose scent, same goes for the balm, which also has a nice menthol kick. So I would say if you don't love rose, look elsewhere.
Happy Tuesday. That little guy is a sample of Chatillon Lux's aftershave La Forêt de Liguest scent. It's quite nice.
