Brush:  Elite Maple Burl/Declaration Grooming B11
Soap:  Summer Break Rope Swing
Razor:  Haircut & Shave Z074
Blade:  Bic Chrome Platinum
Aftershave:  Summer Break Rope Swing

Love the Summer Break summer seasonal soaps.  Last year Cannonball, this year Rope Swing. Not only are the scents summery and evocative of their names, but the use of the WS-23 cooling agent really does give an incredible cool sensation. Just great on a humid summer day.

First use of a straight for sometime now due to some issues of late that rehab and a procedure and recovery has now allowed.

So I thought I would return with A&E’s Kaizan
A new 26mm High Density Silvertip Manchurian Ultralux Badger ‘Red Forge’ from Rich Man Shaving
Made it three passes without issue.

Three cheers for rehab and recovery Sean!  It's good to hear that you are sufficiently on the mend to post luscious photos like this one for the rest of us to enjoy.  Be well.   Happy2  Happy2

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, taken to heart.

Best, Sean

A good shave was had, albeit a bit painful. I forget how questionable BICs can be. Last blade was great, this one was rough.

The soap performance was quite good, a nice slick lather like Tuesday. The scent was, unfortunately, not quite for me. It's not an overly strong scent, but the citrus is very much Oranges through and through. It's also got a creamy note making it, basically, a less sweet orange creamsicle. Though I expected something exactly like this, it just wasn't for me. Live and learn.

Have a good evening DFS!

The scent of sage with sweetgrass and cedar with benzoin resin make this an instant win for me. There isn’t another scent out there like this unless of course you have some sage and sweetgrass.
Great shave. Smile
