I think we've all had similar boneheaded moves, Josh mr. smith!  Of course, you did as I would have and shouldered on through the shave.  I'm glad to hear you managed to figure out your problem, though!  On the bright side, at least you know you should have a much better shave tomorrow!  Good luck! Wink

Thank you Rob! I was so surprised at the huge difference in aggressiveness between the .68 and the .95! ? I'm looking forward to testing out the real razor. In retrospect; that was the closest shave I've had yet!

Hello everyone in this weeks thread of your shave of your day photos.

Mé was made by a woman from Spain I believe a few years ago. I bought direct from her and she was very pleasant to buy from. Her name was Elena and the story was she originally formulation her soaps in hopes to develop one for her brother. He received these soaps his sister made to aid in skin and shave comfort.

Mé has unique lather with vegetable and other ingredients. It has some formulas with nice post shave feel. Today this wasn't efficient enough today not because of the lather or the brush, which paired well together quite nicely. But the failure of the the shave was the lather wasn't of higher protection (maybe it lacked density) so it resulted in airing or drying foam. I had quite a few nicks and a lacking comfort to the shaved skin.

The resulting post pass one is still very pleasing and lightly fattening. My scalp felt soon weird after some of the skin dried. Here is it's ingredients:

Stearic Acid, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Borage Oil, [Pepita de Uva = ? Grape Nugget ?], Bee's Wax, Castor Seed, Water, Vegetable Glycerine, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Hydroxide, Kaolin, Zinc Oxide, Annatto, Vetiver, Cedar Wood, Eucalyptus, Niaouli, Orange, Sage, Pine, Lavender.

I would like to if possible do a pif today with these soaps I have remaining. If interested in a Spanish artisan made soap in testament to those in Spain currently. Stay safe and be well everyone at DFS.

Regards,

Zaclikestoshave
