The Vanderpool soap has been mentioned on the forum a few times before. I’ll reiterate: scent-wise, imagine your head wrapped in a brand-new leather jacket. No, this isn’t the sweet leather scent of a fine Italian portfolio, this is that motorcycle vest you saw at the outdoor market. You want to turn your home into a tannery? Just open up this jar.

The lather is fantastic; rich, dense and slick. Great performance! Helped even the slightly stubborn synthetic 26 × 54 mm to splay rather effortlessly. The 80s Schick Super II razor is too light, too mild, but carefree. And Sangre De Drago is still something of a mystery scent to me.

The Mystic Water Lime soap provided a nice slick lather.  Since this tub is just about finished I will use it more often over the next couple of weeks to just finish it up.  Sticking with my normal 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal touch up ended in my normal near BBS shave.  I finished up with a splash of F&C Shambala.  A great shave to start the weekend.  I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

Amazing Aristocrat
The softball glove is one my Dad used for at least seventy years - playing competitively on work and church teams, as well as playing catch with me for 45 of those years. I still remember his patience while teaching me to throw a knuckleball. The baseball is from the 1968 World Champion Detroit Tigers, signed by his favorite player, Al Kaline. Tabac reminds me of my Dad because he used it in his mug with his c40 boar brush. The razor is as close as I could find to the one he used.
The Aristocrat is an excellent shaver - smooth and efficient. I got a BBS in three passes with no drama.
