It’s often so easy to take for granted the one central element in this hobby of ours — water.

Glad everything turned out well in the end, Rob! Hope you have some great shaves with that fine-looking new SE.  Happy2

Matthew, this is so true! Once the water stopped flowing, it kind of took the fun out of the whole experience.

And, thank you, my friend! The water is flowing again and I really do plan to enjoy this razor further!

So this is a new soap maker that is selling on Etsy, and I have to tell you, this soap performed very well. Super easy to build a wicked slick lather. Very, very nice stuff, if anyone wants to check out a new, possibly up-and-coming soap maker...

What a great shave this morning.  The Tres Amigos whipped up the Route 66 Frozen Margarita into a wonderful slick lather.  The cooling of the menthol felt great on a muggy morning.  The Mongoose/Feather Super Pro combo provided a smooth and efficient near BBS 2 pass shave.  I finished off the shave with the matching aftershave balm.  A great start to the day.  I hope everyone has a fantastic Thursday.

Fine.  Done.  I'm a sucker for lanolin.  I picked up "A Perfect Gent" (soap & balm) because I'm also a sucker for labdanum.  Like I needed another friggin' soap.

I do appreciate the heads up on the sale.  A pretty good deal, and I like how they allow you to save a buck by bundling the matching balm with the soap.

Happy I could help. My children a grandchildren will have shave soap for years to come. Smile
I can't wait to hear your results with, "A Perfect Gent".
