Ada's Sandalwood 
I tried a new to me soap today - Ada's, thanks to my friend Daniel Idzan. This one is Sandalwood pretty straightforward and similar to Proraso Red in scent, but not as warm, if that makes any scent sense. The soap lathered easily in my vintage teacher mug using my HIS brush. I had a solid two pass shave with a couple small weepers.  I finished up with Cologne Russe and Van Yulay Idzan balm - a sample that calms any burn and smells great- similar to TdH.
Prep: Maggard's pre shave oil; Shea Moisture pre shave oil
Soap: Ada's Sandalwood 
Brush: HIS
Razor: '59 Fatboy 
Blade: Voskhod (2)
AS: B&M Cologne Russe, Van Yulay Idzan balm sample

Today was just an overwhelmingly great shave with some new stuff.

Prep: Herbaria Italian Bergamot soap
Razor: Above the Tie R2 Kronos
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Brush: WSP Stubby Superfine
Lather: DR Harris Windsor soap
AS: Strop Shoppe Formula 221B

This was my first shave with a DR Harris soap after enjoying a cream sample. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Marlborough scent, but the Windsor scent just floored me. It's so good and at just the right strength for a 3+ pass shave. I've heard complaints about the scent strength, but with these components I believe that a stronger scent would just be overwhelming. It wasn't a seamless pairing with the aftershave, but I've been obsessed with this 221B since I got it. SSLE Baker Street is one of my favorite soaps, and this aftershave smells every bit as good as the soap. Probably better, or at least stronger. And since it's more than just your normal alcohol + menthol affair, I find it much better on the face. 10/10, would shave again.

Face Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & ATG

After my first, and very successful, go with this SEvette I mused at the time how I'd like to try it with a fresh blade. I did ... and it was phenomenal! A true one pass shave, every bit as close in one pass as a three pass shave with a double edge.

I decided to try a second pass against the grain for an extra smooth finish and it certainly achieved it. Just a couple of weepers, which I attribute to the freshness of the blade.

Staggering!
