prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk with Shea Butter bar soap
razor - Fendrihan Full-Stainless Closed/Open Comb Mk I (That same razor that tried to kill me last night.)
blade - Gillette Silver Blue (12, and done)
brush - APShaveCo SynBad
soap - RazoRock Don Donato
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - Reuzel
music - Moon Phase Radio

Okay. This time I torqued the head on by laying a side (edge, actually) on the sink and turning the handle one-handed, which is how I adjust the QShave Futur clone.
I figured that since this was planned to be my last use of the blade, then any deformation of the blade cause by the over-sized fillet wouldn't matter. (again, see this post.)

By golly it was the closest shave I've had in ages, and with no weepers. I just had to be very cautious, approaching my face with the razor like it was a space docking. So, now the Fendrihan is back in rotation with the other razors, but only for the final (12th) use of any blade.

This is the grippiest handle of any of my razors.  Happy2

The top and ends of the head are actually polished, but the bottoms have that pebbly texture, presumably from the MIM (metal injection molding) process.
Oh - and it was the first modern DE razor I had ever bought, back in 2016 I think, so it has some sentimental value.

Gillette Travel Set my dad got as a gift for his 21st trip around the sun when he was stationed with the Air Force in England. It was missing the razor so I bought this "Made in England" Tech. Probably the wrong one and would like to know from the Tech Gurus what this one is and what the correct one would be. This one is a rough specimen, Made in England aluminum base plate and handle but heavier top cap with the Gillette logo. Also if anyone knows what brush may have come in these sets ? Thanks for any help !! Have a great day !!

Soap: Occult Grooming Essentials: Hell Courtesan  ( Prometheus )
Post: CeraVe moisturising lotion..
Fragrance: L'Elégant by MDCI

at long last, I have a soap by Occult Grooming Essentials, so difficult to get hold of, but finally managed to find one.. mind you, it cost me a small fortune with the added taxes, etc.. so, was it worth the endless search history, and the countless dead ends? HELL YEAH! It's one of those soaps that produces a gob full of thick cushiony lather that begs for more water. In fact, there was enough lather to shave me, my cat, the neighbour and their cat.. Tongue   Yeah, this was so much fun, I was making extra passes just so it wouldn't end. I just wish it was more readily available. So what do you say, Bill/Lazaros? When can we expect more of this wonderful soap... ooh, in tobacco, please.?
