No photo today (morning shave, no time for that) but, my fellow wetshavers, what I shave I had today Big Grin . Yesterday I promised I was going for the Eufros today, but I changed my mind and decided to go for a JabonMan, instead. Not a big difference, after all. The chosen one was the sample of the JabonMan "Dama de Noche". "Dama de noche", which could be translated (roughly) for "Nocturnal lady" is a flower that delivers its sweet and fragant scent at night, particularly during the warm months. I'm not particularly fond of floral scents, but I have to admit that I liked this one. Nice, for a change. Superb performance, super slick and super protective, as usual with Manuel's products, and realizing that I'm developing a preference for soaps over creams. Luckily, the two creams I've got (Lea Classic and Alvarez Gómez) are both very good products worthy of being in any rotation, but I'll drive my future purchases towards soaps. Looks like I get better results out of them.

Again, a two pass+touch ups (WTG+XTG) was sufficient to leave a BBS result. The ATG pass is reserved for those days I want to leave my face with no visible trace of my beard. When you have a white skin and dark hair like I do, there is always a "shadow" of your beard even though your skin is soft to the touch, unless you shave really close. I'll leave that for the weekend. With these two passes, the alum block doesn't sting and tells me that tomorrow, I'll be able to shave again with no problems.

I had Shawn include an unscented toner in my last order and I'm planning to concoct (hack) a CL Bay Rum - I want it to be more than straight up bay rum though - do you have any thoughts on what might blend well?  I've got a few EOs lying around, amber, frankincense and I'm considering those.

I think something with some bite: perhaps a solid dose of ginger, even more citrus with some lime. Black pepper? Either way, definitely interested in how it turns out!

I love the Himani Navratna Cool Talc, especially on hot humid days.  The scent is one I really appreciate.
