Friday, 06 November, 2020:
1920's Gillette Old Type
Rapira Platinum Lux
Simpson M6 Best Badger Tortoiseshell
CRSW Schapenmelk Shaving Soap
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet Aftershave Balm
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet EdT
Nice and shiny, but without the slight orange tint of the gold wash.

SOTD Friday, November 6 - Fountain Pen Day
My weapon of choice: Pilot Metropolitan in gold colour, with medium nib.
prep - shower with Caprina Fresh Goat’s Milk with Shea Butter bar soap
razor - RazoRock SLOC on a RR Barber Pole stainless handle
blade - Shaverboy Super Stainless (2)
brush - Fendrihan Classic Pure Grey Badger
soap - RazoRock's Irish Countryside
post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse
aftershave - RazoRock's Irish Countryside splash
music - streaming Surf Rock Radio
The SLOC head is brand-new. I think it's officially my new favourite OC.
Tonight's shave was the best I've had in months. Everything just came together. The blade was used once before, so it's broken in now. I got the better results in two passes than I would in my normal three lengthy passes. The SLOC is great for blade buffing.
The soap is one of RR's "Super Tallow" base soaps, which are great.
I took a chance on the AS because I like RR "GIT", but it appears to be discontinued. Upon learning that they both are based on Green Irish Tweed, I thought I'd try this stuff. It paid off, as I can't tell the difference. SWMBO approves too.
