Beautiful brush, just stunning knot on that.

Thank you, yes, it is gorgeous. And it worked really well on the hard soap this morning.

Pre-shave:- Cold Water straight from the tap
Brush:- RazoRock Plissoft Synth. 24/57mm knot
Soap/Cream:- Arko (3 shave sticks grated into a 150ml plastic tub)
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 34C / Gillette Nacet #1
Post-shave:- Thayers Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil / Lucky Tiger Aftershave & Face Tonic
Fragrance:- Hugo Boss (Original)

I will be using the RazoRock Plissoft Synth brush, Merkur 34C and the Arko shaving soap for a while because the house is going to Auction on Saturday 5th of May so there will be house inspection every Thursday and Saturday because all my shaving gear is put away into my military footlocker.

WOW..... haven't used Arko tallow soap for a while because I can smell a very strong soapy sour scent of lemon went straight through my sinus.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I got a three pack of Russian military surplus razors from eBay for something like $10 for three of them, each slightly different variations. I used the half open comb and half straight bar version. I got them because they were really cheap and interesting. The razor is light, super light. The blade exposure is somewhat aggressive. It actually shaved really well, the audio feedback was loud, like straight razor loud. I didn’t think I would actually use it because it felt so cheap (light) but it was kinda fun to use. Wont be a regular rotation razor but maybe I will try the duel blade option at some point just out of curiosity.

The Dr. Jon set was also nice. No mistaking the blood orange scent and performance is always good from them. In retrospect it would have been more funny if I had used one of their cold war soaps. Not sure what I was thinking there. I got the Manchurian brush from Scott (Declaration grooming). Nice brush but I am looking forward to having one of his knots some day.
