I recently received my new Sony a6700. It replaced my 10 year old Sony a6000, which still took excellent images, so I gave it to my friend. Currently mounted is the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN. I like the perspective the lens provides ~ 24mm with the 2/3 sized sensor. I also have the Sony SEL50F18. It makes a nice compact portrait lens.

Incase someone's curious, the tripod and head are Sachtler. "Speedlock CF" sticks and FSB 8 Fluidhead. It makes for a fairly lightweight kit.

I have the same camera and lens. Just getting to know it, coming from Fuji.

Eleven ...I had a couple of Sony video cameras prior, so I've kinda 'bought into' the brand. Before that, it was Canon 35mm film cameras.

I'm pleased with the a60xx series, and, over the years, the lenses have improved along with different focal lengths.

Looks like a great setup. Just curious how much it is used for video vs still images. I was assuming some amount of video work with that fluid head.

rocket ...actually, the 'Fluidhead' is leftover from a larger video camera I owned. Kind of overkill for the diminutive a6700, but still a nice rig and reasonably portable.

To answer your question, I'll probably do 75% still images and 25% video. My 'evil' plan is to get the Sony 200-600mm telephoto and 1.4X Extender and do some casual wildlife studies (birds). I live 20 miles from the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. Plus we have the occasional night-time rocket launch.

Wowsers, that’s a REAL camera! Can we see a few of your fav images? I love to see what other people see through the lens with their eyes!

I shoot with this:

ExtraProtein ... I do alot of my best 'work' with my phone. LOL! Your's is interesting. What kind of perspective does a 58mm lens give on a phone?
