The first is of Smalls Falls here in Maine.

It's a very cold swim even in the hottest part of the summer.
The 2nd is of a Clevia plant in our family room. I liked the way the light was coming in through the window and thought it might be interesting captured in infra-red. It took an honorable mention in a Maine comp'. I have one framed on a wall and I still haven't tired of seeing the ghostly image.

These look amazing.
Thanks BLW.
Rumor has it that it's a great place for a swim in the hot days of summer. But the water is absolutely crystal clear and the water could be 6" deep or 20' deep. One simply can't tell by eye. I've never gone in to find out. When I go out to take photos I'm always by myself and I don't want to leave the camera gear unattended. OK, I also know how cold Maine water can be... think ice cubes.

What camera were you using?
I no longer live in Denver but every time I went down town at night I wished I had brought my Nikon D80. I never did but luckily I was able to get this picture with my old Galaxy S4 phone “who knew?”.
