Since Saponificio Varesino is the hot topic — I’ve had a few shaves with Felce Aromatica and the 70th Anniversary Special Edition. I enjoy both scents very much, and I really like how the lather feels on my face. But I, too, have noticed that the lather isn’t as slick as the lather many other soaps produce. And post-shave isn’t the greatest, either. I do enjoy how the scent from the 70th Anniversary soap seems to stick around for quite a while. Not many soaps do that for me.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Can't say I "hated" SV (Colonia). The scent was nice. PIF'd it. Smile

I have an "excess" shave stuff drawer in the laundry room for the unloved/unused items (I faintly hear the tune "Island of Misfit Toys," from the Rudolph Christmas TV special!). I find it has non-tallow soaps that just didn't work for me. And as Marko said above, I feel a little bad about trying to sell or PIF them. But hey, maybe they will be stars for someone else.  I am waiting to see if someone else who can't tolerate scented soaps asks about fragrance free ones, and then I planned to help out! As mdv39 noted, I also find Soap Commander's soaps to be great non tallow soaps.
