Oddly enough, for those of you who stated there are too many choices, Soap Commander just announced that they are discontinuing several scents from their main line and will only offer 9 scents in the main line up, along with the seasonal and Le additions 4 times per year.
SC is one of my favorite artisans especially Gusto in the hot weather. As great as their soaps are their balms might be even better. I know their massive tubs are their calling card but as someone who likes to collect and try a variety of soaps those 6oz sizes can be daunting. The same can be said for the 8oz Catties Bubbles. I'm happy to see SC coming out with with some 3oz choices. For me that 4ozish size hits the sweet spot. I'd like to hear what other members think.
Ah, che bel vivere, che bel piacere per un barbiere di qualita.
I am a big fan of Soap Commander, some of the scents are truely awesome. Gusto being my favourite. I like the way SC do things as a business, I think having a stable core line with the seasonals and now the limited Editions at 3oz is a very clever move. Some people say it's to much, personally I don't think it is as I will only buy scents that interest me.
I do love Tallow soaps and I think that this is the closest you get with a vegan formula and it does match the performance of some of the best tallow soaps.
SC back up there Soap line with some incredible products. Great bath soaps, lotions, Lip balms. The Aftershave balm is the best out there and I use it as an everyday moisturiser. There is even some great coffee.
All this is supported by some of the best customer service going. I am hoping to take advantage of all of this in November when they open up their membership scheme again - I would love to do the gold package.
I have Connection (Woods n Berries) on the way. I have heard good things so I am looking forward to it.
Have you heard they are looking into Aftershave Splash?

Oli, I am not sure on the AS but would certainly be interested in trying if they did release. I don't typically enjoy balms as they often leave my skin feeling "greasy" which I don't care for... the SC product absorbs quickly and offers great post shave feel for a balm IMHO.
Like you, I hope to join the Gold program when they open it up as I very much enjoy their product(s) and think it a great way to offer input on their seasonal releases.
My latest order of the recent releases is hung up due to the storm but hope to have it arrive later this coming week.

Look forward to it Oli. I am sticking strong to my RR SAW commit to Dave but have been sniff diving my Connection and Commitment until the weekend.
Probably kickoff Saturday with Connection as I really want to see what all it has to offer scent wise and think it will open through use.
Your review/thoughts greatly appreciated as always once you give it a go!

I picked up the Winter seasonal Fortitude a while back. It is likely my favorite scent from SC that I have tried to date. I am a sucker for tobacco rooted scents and although somewhat mild on this front, the Rum rounds it out with a slight sweetness that is a perfect match. The hay brings a bit of a herbaceous quality that is also a bit silky.
Great, great scent and of course killer performance.
