Wet shaving was done at the house for the most part. I don't see how COVID had much to do with wet shaving we are familiar with. The Gillettes of the world certainly were impacted but the artisanal market? COVID would have only sped up the closing.

I am referring to the impact of C19 closures on small business....compounded by inflationary
pressures on businesses (mostly small) as a result of high energy costs. It takes electricity
to run the machines that make the goods. That is one factor...we must also consider possible
health issues faced by business owners that followed this pandemic for whatever reasons.

As far as I know Fine is still making AS’s, but not the hard soap pucks anymore. But otherwise yeah, definitely some more shutdowns in the last year or two. ATT, Charcoal, Thater, PannaCrema, Dr Jon’s, Micks, I’m sure there are others that aren’t coming to mind right away… I’m sure there will be more that exit in the next year or two to come.
This is just speculation, but I wonder if Ikon will be going out soon. I don’t remember seeing any new releases from them for quite a while, and almost every product on their website has been listed as on sale.
