I will post one more time. My friend Yasha Tseliskovskaya lives in St Petersburg, married a metallurgical engineer and he doesn't built Migs. Past discontinuances have involved a temporary loss of market presence in the west but not production, a repackaging with new ephemera and a five pack replacing ten. They have also been known to pull a 'Crazy Ivan' to monitor bootleg sales and stock control.

The st Petersburg plant that makes the SI blades is owned by Gillette which is owned by proctor and gamble. I've had communication with both. P&G didn't know what they were. Gillette didn't know either but the person i talked to did his research and got ahold of me saying no the SI are not being discontinued. The rumors of them being discontinued is a sale tactic used to sell off old stock by people who self authorize themselves as vendors and make up these rumors to turn a buck.

In local stores in my town in Bulgaria, where Polsilvers are popular blades (firstly from Wizamet, Poland, now - St. Petersburg, Russia), they are still available  Happy2

This guy has been sounding the alarm on reddit for months now:

"My suppliers have run out of stock and I am selling off whatever I have. Anyone still wanting to stock up on Polsilver, this is the time to do it. All Bulgarian vendors are out of Polsilver, the other vendors will soon follow as worldwide polsilver stock is running dry after 11 months of no production.
Current stock: around 780 packs of Polsilver, 120 packs of Gillette Platinum."

THERE IS NO BOAT.

It's a hustle to keep prices up, period. You'll find threads about Polsilver being discontinued going back to 2012. No joke.

And I will still buy from Vitallity on reddit (great guy) if he has some when I need some, but somebody actually got a response as to if they were being discontinued.
