They blundered badly on the UPC for  SI ten packs with a bogus number. Blue/Silver  SIs correct UPC is 3014260318024. I have a small unused stash of the brown/gold polish Wizamets which are properly 3014260316242
There were other older variations but  now in collectable quantities with rediculous prices.

If this is so, can someone explain these? I'm sitting on a couple hundred. I'm not up to speed regarding counterfeit blades.

there was some earlier packaging than those, I believe. I have about 10 tucks of the fakes. I'll try to take some photos tonight.

Yeah i know the old packaging, I was mostly curious about the UPC as it is different than what KAV mentioned, and almost identical to brown/gold Wizamets.

I just checked the UPC 3014260316624 and all indications are they are legit Polsilver blades. I hope so because my stash has the same UPC code.

Brown and gold Wizamets are Polish production. SUPER IRIDIUMS have a silver/grey and light blue packaging from St Petersburg Gillette and came in 10 packs. The above Polsilvers; last St P production came in 5 packs and there have been no reports of counterfeiting. There was a batch of chicom fake blades for the previous issue. There is a forum posting somewhere out there that showed a wrong UPC number and several misprints on packaging. I am pretty sure all of those monstrosities are long gone. There are a few other very rare Polsiver/SIs that have packaging indicating Czech production and an older Polish edition.

I had received counterfeit PSI blades in the past from West Coast Shaving. The upc number was the same but the font was slightly different. The zyletec font was slightly different as well as a slight variation in the graphic on the front of the tuck. The print markings on the blade were different and there were no wax dots. In their defense WCS was unaware and it appear that somehow somewhere along the supply chain fakes were introduced into the supply chain and WCS made it right. I have had good luck with DCC at polsilverblades.com Price is good and they all appear to be authentic. No issues so far.

I really like them and have about 250 of them, but after they are gone I'll just stick with GSBs and Platinum. I like feathers also and I doubt they are going anywhere.

I may just hang on to my two 100 packs and sell them for $735 on BST in a few years.

They're probably going to still be in production by the time you die. They're not being discontinued. It's a marketing ploy to sell them used by dealers to say they're being discontinued
