Once one states their love of haggis, I think they have moved on to true Scottish heritage.  Big Grin

Why, thank you. I shall take that as a compliment. Big Grin

Meh. I love them and just bought another 100 from a trusted vendor even though he said they were getting harder for him to get and he may not have them available in the future. He never said anything about them being gone forever though. $19.50 shipped for 100 is a pretty good price though. He is on reddit and I have bought from him before.

I bought a sleeve of 100 when the last scare occurred (maybe it was September of last year?). Since that time I've used some of the super iridium blades I had from other loose packs. These blades are not for me, although I do respect that they are quality blades. That being said, PM me if you're looking to acquire this pack. Ordered from the polsilver website mentioned on the OP.

Not to high jack the thread, I just thought if someone doesn't want to wait they can have mine.

The seller on Reddit recently posted that he had gotten a hold of another 160 packs. I do believe they're actually gone this time, but not entirely unobtainium (yet).

I just picked up another 100 from DCC. They've always been legit and the price is right. Definitely my favorite blade.

It's no use. Hell, a Gillette employee on another forum told them as such and they still didn't believe him in their Chicken Little panic mode.

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

My friend Yasha Tseliskovskya confided this is all a clumsy capitalista marketing ploy and will have a happy outcome unlike our distaste for national leaders. Yasha reminded me Russian blades are like vodka and they all get the job done. That has always been the Russian standard of performance. I had a Russian 35MM SLR camera up in Alaska. I'm on a Sikorsky as extra observer when we located an overturned fishing boat with the crew on the hull. I'm taking photos along with a corpsman when a sharp gust of wind sent us flying against the cabin. We had the cameras on straps but both got banged up pretty bad. His Nikon stopped working. I was able to finish 3 more shots, one of which is still in print by the CG Public Information office. We sent the cameras in for repair. Mine had another big old dent in the body. Nikon was a write off. Mine came back with a note the dents weren't worth repairing, everything worked but it was the filthiest camera he had ever serviced and was charging extra for cleaning.

Sometimes I think people online like to run around in a panic, making complete fools out of themselves in the process. Occasionally they will mention the "shavepocalypse", and then bounce around like kangaroo rats on meth.

It is really easy people... If your favorite blade is discontinued, just switch to another one that gives you great shaves. With 100+ different blades available, it is extremely unlikely that there is only one that will give you cosmically good, mind-blowing BBS shaves.

They blundered badly on the UPC for  SI ten packs with a bogus number. Blue/Silver  SIs correct UPC is 3014260318024. I have a small unused stash of the brown/gold polish Wizamets which are properly 3014260316242
There were other older variations but  now in collectable quantities with rediculous prices.

If this is so, can someone explain these? I'm sitting on a couple hundred. I'm not up to speed regarding counterfeit blades.

there was some earlier packaging than those, I believe. I have about 10 tucks of the fakes. I'll try to take some photos tonight.
