Has anyone tried the SLOC (Self-lubricating Open Comb)? I'm curious as to whether it's a mild razor similar to the original (aluminum) PAA DOC or if it has a little more aggressiveness. Either way, it does look cool...and for only $15, not bad deal

It's the same as the Yaqi DOC which some of us have tried. A bit mild but efficient, those who have tried both indicate it's not as mild as the original PAA version of the Grand Shave King.[Image: e87151069d08248bce00096dcc526979.jpg]

I ordered one, but don’t have it yet. If nothing else, it’s basically your choice of 3 nice stainless handles with a nearly-free head thrown in.

I have “that one area” on my neck with hair growing all randomly different directions but all of it flat against the skin. It’s beside the trachea of course. If the head actually holds some lather to make that easier for buffing from multiple directions, great! If not, well, so far an open comb has been the most effective approach (though I also have a slant ordered).

That's exactly what I was thinking!

I have the original PAA DOC which is mild, and the aluminus version which is very aggressive. I guess this one is in between the two.

It's hard to tell as many reviewers sling about the term "DOC" from PAA and either don't know what version they have or are confused. Huh

Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.”  “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.
