Sir Henry's Sundries (Black Tie Razor) General thread

dominicr which style bottle is currently used for the aftershaves, or is it dependent on the scent that is ordered? I noticed in the above photo, 2 different type of bottles, with one style offering two different caps. Thank you.

We're actually migrating towards the plastic bottle with an orifice restrictor like the Island Estate bottle on the right. We had supply issues with packaging during the height of Covid so the cap on the left (Quartet) was a temporary solution. The glass bottle in the middle (El Jefe) is eventually going to be replaced completely as bottles/labeling depletes.

Thanks, dominicr. I prefer the look on the Island Estate bottle, it stands out from the ones that are popular among the majority of makers.

Cool point of trivia. That flask style bottle you see with the Island Estate & Quartet is made right here in St. Louis, Missouri.

Thanks for the info.  Between the scent, the price, and my desire to try your soap, the temptation was too great.  I broke my self-imposed limit on new soap and bought a tub.  Looking forward to it!

Good old #13!  That’s what got me hooked on Black Tie/Sir Henrys.  Correct me if I’m wrong Dom but I believe the thought was produce a scent-free soap and offer bottled scents to drop on top to change the scent.  I had El Jefe and Casino Royale and it was fun to be in control of the scent and scent strength.  Such a great idea!  Mine is all used up now but if I recall this soap was truly unscented.  Great offer.  Grab some gents.
