CRSW Glide, Mystic Water, The Grooming Dept, Wholly Kaw, B&M Glissant, and I know this may sound strange but the Dr Harris Almond soap I have is probably the slickest soap I own which really surprised me.

I would rate the Sir Henry's along with PAA, Wickham 1912, Caties Bubbles, Phoenix & Beau. Still slick but to me at least there are slicker.

Honestly to me slickness is not the best aspect to judge a soap by it's the overalll post shave. For example, I have seen quite a few people say MDC is their absolute favorite/best soap in their den. For me other than the scent it disappointed in every aspect and left me with a very dry feeling post shave. I'm a firm believer that different soaps work better/worse for different people. Sir Henry's wasn't the slickest soap for me but the post shave was graet and that's where it counts!

Love the feedback. We want to be sure Sir Henry's is top tier. We soak it all in. Thanks again.

I apologize for the delay, but I was out of town when the soap arrived. I have had the opportunity to try both the Sandalwood Balm and Soap for several shaves. I really enjoyed the soap. IMHO the scent of the Soap is at the lighter to medium end for a Sandalwood scent, which I really like. Not too overpowering and for me, just right. I used an Omega Boar brush, and the soap created a great lather. Slickness is on par with most of the soaps I have in my collection. I would rate the slickness and performance in the top 20%. Post shave was great. The Sandalwood Balm made my face feel great, but for some reason it seemed a little more oily than the balms I am used to (Rockwell, Stirling, Crabtree&Evelyn, Gillette, Barbasol, Eleven, etc.). The scent of the Balm is similar to the Soap, but I agree with another reviewer....the Balm has more vanilla or sweetness in it. I would definitely purchase the Soap, but I would leave the Balm on the shelf. Question: Will there be more Sir Henry scents coming in the future? Please PM me with the address of the next person on the list. Thanks for the opportunity of trying these products.

At the moment, I don’t know if there is anyone else.
Our other scents are in our 2 part system. Unscented soap and scent/pre-Shave oils with various scents.

Keep enjoying it until someone steps up and joins the pass around.

Hey guys I’ve used the Sir Henry’s sandlewood for three shaves now. I used three different brushes, two synthetic and one badge for one face lather and two bowl lathers. The soap performed well and was consistent across the different variables I had. I was able to get more than enough lather for my three passes with touch up. The scent was nice and strong, and it was present through the whole shave. The balm was a bit thicker then I’m use to, but It went on great and felt very good. The scent was present most of the day. I too noticed the different scent in the tub but I couldn’t tell a difference once it dried on my face.

Thanks Dominick for the passaround! Let me know who’s next up.
