Recently I had the privilege to discover a great artisan and awesome fellow wet shaver. He hand tied a knot for one of my Prometheus handles and also helped me restore a handle that had a few defects. Moreover, he equipped this handle with one of his hand-tied knots free of charge!

Today I received these brushes and would like to give a huge shout out to Frank for his generosity, craftsmanship, and exemplary customer service. To follow on his footsteps and to give an opportunity to experience his hand-tied knots I am giving away the brush that Frank generously restored for me.

Those who are currently not able to afford to purchase one of his brushes please respond to this message with a simple phrase “I am in”. The thread will be open until August 23. On August 24 I will create a raffle and will draw a winning bid.

This is an honor code based raffle and there are only three conditions to participate:
-you currently are not able to afford a high end brush,
-you commit not to sell the brush if you are the winner,
-you commit to post an in-depth review of the knot and its performance.

LET THE RAFFLE BEGIN!

PS. Don’t forget to check Frank’s software! I have a couple of his soaps and aftershave s and they are among my top performers!

Happy shaves,
Alex

Alex! I would like to participate in your draw. I have quite a few brushes, but I don't have a single hand-knitted brush (except for Oumo Lotus Manchurian). But, it will not be entirely fair. I can buy a brush for $ 300-350. But when I receive it, it will cost me at least $ 400. Delivery, insurance, customs duty. But, even this is not the main thing. It's just that I highly doubt a hand-knotted brush will perform twice as well as some of my $ 150-200 brushes. And so I can't pay about $ 400 just to find out if I'm right or wrong. And one moment . I will not be able to write a very detailed review. I do not speak English . But, I have a great desire to try this brush.

I am in. I am a huge fan of SGS and Frank’s software. The handle ties brush though has been out of my reach. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
