I leave the blade in.

I rinse the razor and leave it to dry with the blade in. Take it apart and clean it with a soft toothbrush and some soap once every two weeks. Keeps my razors looking brand new and haven’t had any issues with the blades staying in.

I had always left my blade in.  After reading through this thread I believe I can spare the additional minute to take everything apart and save myself some headaches down the road.

I generally separate everything after every shave and clean, dry and reassemble

Left a Gillette Platinum in my Blackbird for about ten days. After each shave, I loosened the handle a bit and dipped the razor head in alcohol.

Was surprised to find that the blade had developed some rust. Haven’t seen that happen in years. Since the razor has the black oxide treatment, I couldn’t really tell if it had been affected. Thoroughly cleaned it, of course.

If this happens again, I may have to change my routine, but for now, the blade will still stay in the razor for as long as it shaves.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I leave the blade in after turning it upside after I dry the blade, and dry the razor (if TTO, gentle on the doors about 90% dry, 3 piece gets dried throughly)

Same here.

The only ones that I get stuck with are my injector razors.

There is not way to reinsert that blade every day without running the risk of damaging the blade edge.

After shaving I take my razor apart, clean and dry all parts, rinse the blade and set it aside to dry.
Next time I shave I may use a different razor, so I never leave the blade in the razor.
