Left a Gillette Platinum in my Blackbird for about ten days. After each shave, I loosened the handle a bit and dipped the razor head in alcohol.
Was surprised to find that the blade had developed some rust. Haven’t seen that happen in years. Since the razor has the black oxide treatment, I couldn’t really tell if it had been affected. Thoroughly cleaned it, of course.
If this happens again, I may have to change my routine, but for now, the blade will still stay in the razor for as long as it shaves.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

The only ones that I get stuck with are my injector razors.
There is not way to reinsert that blade every day without running the risk of damaging the blade edge.
