The start of the week went very well.

Sorry for the mostly out of focus shot, I am not very good at depth of field with a mobile phone's camera. I was attempting to have a sharp focus on the base of the brush handle.

Fluffy Industries 86 S copper fittings handle. The "S" is for Short, as there was, I believe, and 86 model that was taller. The handle is weighted, giving it a nice solid feel, like a great tool should feel. Weighted with what, you ask? Wait for it....

Ingenious idea, right?!
Oh, and it has my user name on it, too, making it a valued item.

The rest of the setup:
APSCo Cashmere knot
Gillette pre-War Tech (Replated by Back Roads Gold)
Personna Platinum Chrome, an authentic Israeli Red (5)

A very nice shave that only had some discomfort attempting ATG under my schnoz, so I stopped and went horizontal instead.

Hope you conquer your Monday!

Most of my pics have things out of focus too. I was actually going to say what a cool angle on the picture before I read your comment on focus. Cool pic and brush !

Out of focus? "Artistic" is the better descriptor. Smile

Yes Eric is an artist. I’d add that I believe he has more talent than Hunter Biden.

Many thanks to Dave for lending me his Oliworks Aggressive plate for the M3teorite razor. I plan to use it for my workday shaves. In preparation for them, I used the Mild plate today for a later in the morning shave and tried to limit my strokes per pass to help ensure stubble for tomorrow's shave.

M3teorite with Mild plate
Nacet (3)
Fluffy Ind. 86S/Cashmere
Murphy & McNeil Nil

Great lather and enjoyable application with this brush. An easy, relaxing shave before trying to herd the 2 cats (not easy, and mildly stressful)!

Tyler (the old boy who lived on the streets for an unknown number of years) has a skin issue that can be managed with a monthly steroid shot. (Negative side effect is that he can get food-focused more than ever, and can eat too much if we don't monitor his feedings. But he doesn't scratch incessantly, and his eyes aren't tearing constantly.) And when we found that the techs at the vet clinic can trim the nails for a pittance, and do it 5 minutes, we book both Tyler and the much younger Sylvester for nail spa time!

I have been told by my wife that the best way to crate the cats is to "trap" them in a small space, like the walk-in closet or a bathroom. Me, being a bear of very little brain at times, decided that since both boys were sleeping on the bed, I'd just casually remove them one at a time. You can guess what I found, or rather, didn't find, upon returning to the bedroom for Sylvester. He was nowhere to be found. I looked in many places and still am not sure where he disappeared to. (He just walked by me right now, first time I've seen him since seeing him on the bed this morning!) I was going to be late, so I just took Tyler to get his shot and claws clipped.

Halfway to the clinic, I realize I have my slippers on! Saving grace is that they are black and look sort of like a Merrill Jungle Moc (it's what I told myself!) but I still felt like I was only 1 step up from being dressed for Walmart! I did have jeans and a flannel, having taken the time to change out of my pajamas!!

Well, the shave was very close. And there were no cuts. I think it was a good shave, but I don't see myself reaching for this plate daily. Maybe every other day?

Many thanks to the gentleman from Kentucky for lending me the plate. It scratched the itch!

Main thing is you had your pants on.
