After a sleep on it, I still think it would be best to let someone else enjoy this razor. I tried to enjoy the stainless version for six months before moving it on, and this one I have had for 18 months now (purchased in 2022, March I believe). Looking over my notes for the last few months, I see lots of good shaves but also most entries contained reports of nicks or lasting irritation. I have plenty of razors that are much more consistent, and that is what I want in a razor. At least, today, that is what I want!  Big Grin  It is possible that I am just in a "mood" after donating a half dozen razors to a good and so seem to be in de-cluttering frame of mind. Off to the photo shoot now, and then more thinking about it as I do the write up.

Now that you mention it, I do recall some posts where you noted the Ti Vector was taking bites at you. I feel the exact same way about expensive razors that do not see much use; they should be used. You shouldn't have trouble moving the Vector. GLWTS.

By the way, I have a few shaves in with the Feather SS, and I am finding it better for me than the Feather kamisori-style AC. Thank you!

I understand. I’ve added a few razors over the years but I always come back to the Rockwell 6s. It’s smooth and effortlessly gives me great shaves. I’ve said in the past that it’s a technique destroyer by which I mean it gives me smooth irritation and nick free shaves while many other razors don’t.

After seeing a friend's resin shave bowl, I willingly went to the Etsy shop to look for myself. And I found one that fits with the spacey themes of the Trotter (Stubble Daddy) handles I have. This is the Dark Nebula bowl from The CaYuen Workshop.

It is quite the stunning bowl! I haven't bowl lathered for some years, but gave it a go this morning. I didin't think about it until just now, as I have been going back to a set 4 for the week, but I should have used a Trotter handle!

And after a minute or two:

It worked very well and I still enjoyed some face lathering just because I seem to be unable to only "paint" my face!
