My reacquainting myself with vintage Gillettes continues.

Another Freddiep318ti restore, this with a 24mm SynBad knot. Made a lovely lather with the Stirling Beeswax soap, and I can see the green bottom of the tub but no hole yet!

Freddie does awesome work, and the handle on this is just a little fatter and shorter then a Heritage replica I had, and I find that this handle works well for my mitts! I had a few knots that needed to be set, so Freddie is sending a couple more restores my way, one very similar to the above Hardright, and I am excitedly waiting.

In looking over my stuff, I a find I am gravitating towards more vintage than modern razors (by a long shot) and slowly adding some vintage handles. They (vintage handles) often tend to hold a smaller knot (20mm-22mm), but what I have discovered is that a 20mm badger knot opens up perfectly for me. I think half my brush handles are now vintage, and the other half, baring an SOC, are Trotter Handcrafts!

I was going to ask about that Stirling Soap, but I figured you'd just say it was none of my beeswax.

Another fantastic shave with a vintage Gillette, this time my Steampunk Slim (J-4).

per keto, the None of Your Beeswax soap (I like that name, Keith!!)
And a wonderful boar, recently reinvigorated by a cleaning, that was gifted to me by the generous mrdoug (Thanks, Paul! Love the history!)

Thanks, Dave. Pete at Hendrix gifted me some microfiber towels, two of which are for cleaning gear. I have always tried to keep stuff clean, but those towels really do make polished pieces shine! And to give credit where credit is due, Pete123 gifted me those to make up for sending me the wrong Speed Shaver adapter. I mean, I was happy to just exchange it, but Pete wanted to "make it up to me" for not getting the order right. Man, that is awesome customer service!
