Shave was superb, all the kit did their respective parts well, and instead of an "additive" shave, it was synergistic, almost epic! (ok, too much hyperbole, right?!)

No fancy picture today, in fact no picture, as I hobbled together stuff downstairs to get my shave on: clean but old hand towel, a trusty SynBad that I keep downstairs for these situations, and a rubbermaid container to act as a basin as our vanity off the living room has no stopper, just a decorative bowl basin. Why not my normal station? My wife wasn't sleeping well, and the master bath is en suite, so I didn't want to make any more noise or fuss than necessary, so I decamped to the 3/4 living room loo!

From my observations log/workbook: Soap lathered really well, and with water, I had a very creamy and slick feeling lather. The Million Dollar razor did a very good job, but I nicked myself in 3 places (to be fair, 2 were on my chin where I have been experiencing difficulties lately). Was it the best injector shave I have experienced? No. But more time with it will tell that tale more fully.

It's Friday! And I don't have to work, so it really is a Friday for me, I am fried and needing to just relax. Off to the "stylist" to get a hair cut (or a whole bunch of hairs). Relaxing but man, is all that grey hair from me? Sure that's not from the previous client?!

I know, right?! I keep getting tempted to try bright orange, or just let it grow so I can get a decorative man-bun!!

There is a great guy 25 minutes away who runs a real barber shop that his dad started. A couple of guys I know use him, and I have a talked with him as he uses our pharmacy. But the Day Spa and Salon is soooo close, and I have had the same lady cutting my hair since '04. Plus, every now and then coeds are present, and I can impress them with my silver locks falling softly onto the floor!

Thanks, I wondered if it was NOS, but the case is beat up and broken. The razor looked clean, but has tarnished a little, which the Flitz removed. I counted it a bonus that the instruction sheet was present, that honestly sealed the deal. I was the only bidder. There was another going for like 75 bucks or something insane. Sure, it looked pretty, but no sheet. This was 10, with shipping! I'll use it more soon. Ron R over on B&B posted nice pics of the sheet for one of his SEptember shaves with the PAL. Supposedly, they really did spend a million bucks in the mid-50s (?) to come up with this razor. I am going to do some sleuthing on that, on who PAL was, etc. After one shave, I would reach for my Type G, I, or M first, but time will tell!

Honestly when you posted about the million dollar razor I thought it was in autostrop that you were getting because they had one that's called the million dollar razor too.

They claimed to have produced one million razors in this package, which were to be sold for a dollar each. The Million Dollar Razor(s). They were sold with the red box, a strop and the mid 20's version razor which had tabs for the Valet blade cut outs. You do require cut out blades for these - you can use the new Feather Haney blades if you can get hold of them.

Medical Update:  Great News!!
The surgeon's fellow just called us, and all tests and images look encouraging (his word).  The team had just finished up their meeting tonight, and wanted to let us know that the results look to support non-cancerous!! They propose following up with another ERCP (fancy scoping) which we have scheduled for end of November and another MRI. If those two imaging procedures, as well as biopsies taken at the ERCP, continue to support no cancer or tumor, then they will be sure that there is no cancer. At that time, decisions can be made regarding whether or not the gall bladder gets to stay or will be removed. [which is what the initial ERCP in early August was all about, determining if the gall bladder stones were causing the pain and discomfort as well as periodically causing liver enzymes to spike.]

We are so relieved, feeling like we are more and more out of the woods but also understanding we need to do a couple more test. So not exactly a "let's wait and see" but a let's wait and make sure no changes are taking place" approach!
