It’s the Yates stubby handle. Very heavy! I am still not sure I like it with the Yates head, but it seems to work with the General. My wandering eye, however, is looking at TiBam handles on eBay!

My bad, I was talking about the steampunk brush handle.

Steampunk Shave!!

And this art is for those guys who can handle "creepy eyes watching  you" on your shave soaps!

Now the details:

The Steampunk Slim and the wonderful handle from Ken:

The handle worked marvelously! While weighty, it soon became "right" and the narrow waist allowed for fine control. In two words: It Works! By the end of the shave, I wondered about weighting all my brushes, then realized, No, that won't work. Fluffy Industries has this calculated out, so that the weighted bottom rests in your hand, while your nimble fingers are gently directing the brush by holding the waist. It Works! and I love it. Thank you, Ken @ Fluffy Industries, for such a unique brush, and one that pairs so well with the Slim. Speaking of which, Slim performed to its best abilities, working in tandem with the Brush to provide the desired Refreshing, and Really Comfortable Shave!

And now for a musical interlude: Rush! the song is Driven, and the official video is Steampunk. The very last album Rush did was a steampunk concept album, Clockwork Angels. Great stuff. I tried to find a video from the concert that hightlighted the steampunk stage set up and couldn't find a good one. In any event, the curious are strongly recommended to find the song Headlong Flight, if you want steampunky lyrics (sort of) AND Rush at their finest as instrumentalists. Hard, heavy, fast, and insightful lyrics!

Here's to a great day! Thanks again to Ken, awesome brush, most likely to stay in the lineup for the rest of the week!

Your talents are being squandered behind the pharmacy counter Eric.  You've got a bright future. As a marketing director.
Thanks for the kind words on the handle. Hope your Thursday goes well.

The Razorock Hawk V3 arrived yesterday, and I was able to use it this morning.

It worked very well for me. I now have 2 AC style razors that give me the results that I look for in a shave. Coming soon I will do some shaves with both and see if I prefer one over the other.

And the Fluffy Industries copper brush did an excellent job, again! I think that the Timberwolf is a 30mm knot, but can you believe that I am not sure?! Whatever, it's a great latherer for me, and like I said before, the handle feels great in hand and just works!

My turn last night. So which one of you chuckle heads kept me up?!  Tongue

Off to a store an hour north of me. Boy, are they in for a treat! I get a little punchy when I am too tired! Lots of questionable humor, as it all sounds funny in my head!

Great shave with the Hawk, but I moved it from the heavier RR bulldog handle to the slightly less heavy Sabre handle.

Let's have a fun Hump Day!
